Yeah. Especially since they do have at least two songs per single they can easily change a few things around.
I do think Anju and Juice are doing quite well in that regard, Biyo always did, Tsubaki is getting there with more focus on Niinuma and Ami... which only leaves out Morning lol. But even they aren't nearly as bad as during the Riho-Reina times.

MM's biggest problem is the overall lack of available solo lines in new songs covering damn near the last 10 years now.

Well, a lot open up by the end of the year.
Re: Hello!Spam :: 2023 ~Dancing, Singing, Exciting!~
That's not what I meant. MM songs from the last 10 years or so include fewer solo lines than songs from other H!P groups. Outside of album tracks, there really aren't that many true solo lines in modern Morning Musume recordings. I suppose it's different for live performances, but even then the constant backing harmonies are still present.

Yeah, it's not good when the song with everyone getting a solo line (and a decent one at that) last seen is Joshi Kashimashi, I think Momusu needs a major shake-up
Re: Hello!Spam :: 2023 ~Dancing, Singing, Exciting!~
Last VTR segment of today's Hello! Station was concert footage of Anju's new member introduction and new leader reveal. The two n00bs couldn't stop crying, which leads to a precious moment that you have to see for yourself.

Goto nearly died on that stage lol. Her energy fits Anju really well.
I don't know Yukiho that well yet but she seems nice.
But Anju in general seems so nice. Despite the two newbies crying their hearts out there wasn't a single awkward second.

The ironic thing is that the original has almost no solo lines.Solarblade wrote: ↑Mon Jun 12, 2023 8:28 pm Yeah, it's not good when the song with everyone getting a solo line (and a decent one at that) last seen is Joshi Kashimashi, I think Momusu needs a major shake-up

Play.Goose does a pretty sweet cover of "46okunen LOVE"
Great arrangement and performance, but I wish they'd have given the solo line leading into the choruses to one of the girls. It just loses a bit of steam being sung an octave lower. Still, this is way better than I was expecting.

Nice. Honoka really keeps up both her piano stuff and idol work.
Oh, I remember goosehouse, so play.goose is like... a side account? I loved their MM covers, even though they only did older songs.JPope wrote: ↑Sun Jun 18, 2023 12:24 am Play.Goose does a pretty sweet cover of "46okunen LOVE"

Poor girl. I'm glad she is being taking care of.
Re: Hello!Spam :: 2023 ~Dancing, Singing, Exciting!~
Damn, this is quite alarming. Does this mean an earlier departure from TF than planned?
Re: Hello!Spam :: 2023 ~Dancing, Singing, Exciting!~
I doubt it, since it's only a few months to begin with.
Hopefully she'll be better soon.
/edit: reading her blog post it sounds like a whole mental breakdown, damn. At least a full blown anxiety attack.

I wish they would make these deals international.
Well, at least a friend of me living in Japan recognized them lol. They love the red hot kfc and recognized Biyo as a group I like haha.

Uh-oh...
This is not great. A quick Google search of hyperacusis pulled up this:
This is not great. A quick Google search of hyperacusis pulled up this:
Hyperacusis is a type of reduced tolerance to sound. People with hyperacusis often find ordinary noises too loud, while loud noises can cause discomfort and pain. The most common known causes of hyperacusis are exposure to loud noise, and ageing. There are no tests for diagnosing hyperacusis.

Huh. That really doesn't sound good, and I hope they find something to make her feel better.
Ocha has been doing a lot of stuff, I hope it's "just" stress and nothing worse.

Re: Hello!Spam :: 2023 ~Dancing, Singing, Exciting!~
After reading more about the condition, I think I've had a mild version of it for a few years now. I've definitely had tinnitus for 25 years or so, but I've noticed times where my car radio will suddenly seem annoyingly loud, and when I turn it down a bit, it's too low. I can't find the sweet spot of volume sometimes. My tinnitus has gotten worse the past few months, to the point where I always notice it, whereas before it was only when there was very little environmental noise present. I imagine the two things are related.

Every now and then, H!P Twitter comes together to make a little magic. This actually feels a little like old-school Twitter when it was still kinda new.
